I interviewed for the Support Operations Specialist role and went through two rounds. The first was an initial call with the hiring manager. The second was a live video call where I completed a written case study assignment to demonstrate how I would handle different situations.
After the first round, I was told to expect a follow-up in two weeks. It ended up taking two and a half weeks, which was understandable, but already a bit of a red flag. After the second round, I was again told to expect an update within two weeks. That timeframe came and went with no communication.
I followed up after the two-week mark and received no response. I followed up again because I had received an offer from another company and wanted to know if I was still in the running. Still no reply. I sent one final message requesting closure out of courtesy. I never heard back.
It is disappointing to go through multiple rounds, complete an assignment, and then be met with silence. I understand that things happen and companies may move forward with other candidates, but basic communication and professionalism should still apply.

Overall I enjoyed the Recruiting Lead role at Parkade. The team asked thoughtful questions and are being really mindful in the search. I was able to interview remotely and also in-person, so it was helpful to meet with the full team.
Three rounds of interview:
First with ops manager - introduction, what the role is, tell me about your experience
Second with future teammates - behavioral questions
Third with CEO - didn’t make it to this round
