I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Panorays in Nov 2024
Interview
I had a very pleasant and positive experience at Panorays. Everyone I met, from the team lead (TL) to the CTO recruiter, was super nice, down-to-earth, and gave me the feeling that they genuinely wanted me to succeed in the process and within the company. It seems like the company has a great, healthy culture with talented, passionate, and savvy people.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
first interview with the TLs - question about basic tech knowledge for the position.
the second interview is a 3-hour coding exercise.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panorays (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jan 2022
Interview
Had 5 interviews. They were quick and efficient, esp compared to other companies. I had 2 technical interviews. The first had 3 questions, and I got some assistance answering where needed. The next was a take home assignment.
The take home interview was easy, but came for me at a bad time. I think if I had postponed a week before taking it, I would have had no problems. I since looked at the assignment and see it is simple.
Did not get the position. Highly recommend devs take a day or week to study a company's stack before jumping into technical interviews. For ex: they used React Hooks, but I was previously using React Redux (or Vue). so I did not know some technical terms. I learned them quickly the following week.
