I applied online. I interviewed at Panda Express (Chicago, IL) in May 2016
Interview
I had phone interview first, then had group interview about 2 weeks later.
The interview questions were easy to answer, managers were very nice.
Group interview took about 20 minutes. They just asked few questions about my former jobs, hobbies, my thoughts about Panda Express, etc..
I got an offer as a lead counter help position about a week after the interview.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Panda Express in Apr 2025
Interview
I had interview with them for Assistant Manager position, unfortunately, the experience was not what i had hoped for. I was interviewed by 3 people, then after that, 1 more person joined the interview. And from the start, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming.
They seemed more focus on putting pressure on me than having a genuine conversation about my qualifications or potential fit for the team. It felt like they were trying to make the process unnecessarily difficult rather than trying to know me or explain the role.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Panda Express in Jun 2022
Interview
My first interview was soon after I applied mid-June. Through Zoom with HR. My second interview was at my local Panda with the general manager early July. I was told there would be a third interview, which I didn't mind, and even if I didn't pass the manager interview I would have a position as FOH. Third interview rescheduled numerous times and eventually done over Zoom with area manager mid-July. Interviewers were very nice, not a very hard or stressful interview. Was told I would hear decision from either interviewer in a few days. It is now the end of August. I've called, texted, and heard nothing. It felt like a massive waste of my time
