      Trainer Interview

      Jul 24, 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PROS (Houston, TX) in Jun 2015

      Interview

HORRIBLE! Before the interview the process was great. I was scheduled to come in for a 4 hour interview including a presentation. When I arrive the interview schedule they provided me was quickly wrong. I meet with more people and different people than had been told and my interview turned into 5 and half hours. I even had one person interview me and say they had no clue why they were there because they would not work with me and knew nothing about the position. They did not have any of my presentation ready like I had asked and was promised. Originally told to have a presentation for an hour then cut to 20 minutes as soon as I come in to present. After it was all done not one person could give me a time for when to hear back from them. After 4 weeks of waiting 4 emails and 4 phone calls and voicemails. All the communication was one sided and only my side. None of my contacts were returned.

      Trainer Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at PROS (Houston, TX) in Aug 2019

      Interview

Very, very poor experience. I applied for one Training position, yet then was told they weren’t sure which position they would like me for the most. This all occurred during the course of 6 twenty-minute interviews. During this time, I inquired multiple times about the focus and direction of the company as it pertained to Training, and not one person’s answer was even similar to another person’s answer. Honestly, I’m not positive they knew what they were looking for, or where they were going. I ended up being satisfied walking away from the company and position. I declined before an offer could be made (which I had only done once before in my two-decade career as a Professional Trainer).

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Random technical questions about random industries, which rarely seemed to even related to each other. They made very little effort to explain their organization, goals, or their view of how this position even related to either of those two very important aspects.
