I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jan 2011
Interview
This was in 2010. First, I had an online assessment and days later I had a personal interview. It was easy. It was only me and one recruiter.
Had never worked in banking before but they looked for transferable skills I guess.
General questions about how to deal with difficult people, situations. Examples of how you did your best or went the extra mile at a job; if you would go over your supervisor to solve a situation or ask for guidance.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you worked with difficult customers, what did you do?
Have you ever done more than what was asked from you? Examples.
How important is confidentiality for you? How do you handle it?
Are you able to work under pressure or in a fast-paced environment?
I applied and got a response the next day. They sent me a link for an interview that consisted of STAR questions, personality questions, (i.e. describe your ideal work environment), and multiple choice questions.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
The hireVue portion was easy but the wording was confusing. The interview process is fairly quick, a lot of behavioral questions and scenarios to gage how you would react. After the HireVue portion you play a few games one was a mathematical one just easy addition, multiplication and subtraction, one was a matching game with shapes, and one was this or that choices with weird photos
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
Interviewed with the recruiter. She was very professional and also made it comfortable. I felt heard and cared for VS just being another number in the company. Looking forward to my 2nd interview!
