I applied online. I interviewed at Orisha in Feb 2026
Interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
❌ I accept being rejected, I don't accept not being respected
⛔⛔⛔ Interview Process Lacked Clarity and Professionalism
I participated in a recruitment process that lasted approximately one month. Unfortunately, the experience was marked by a lack of clarity, shifting requirements, and inconsistent communication.
1) During the first call, I was informed that the company’s working language was English and that French was not required for the role. Based on that understanding, I moved forward in the process.
2) As the process progressed, there was no clear timeline or visibility regarding next steps. I was asked to complete a case study with only five days' notice (while typically at least a week is given). I dedicated significant time and effort to preparing it thoroughly.
3) On the day I was scheduled to present the case study in person, I was informed that the format had changed. The presentation was canceled and replaced with a standard interview, and the in-person meeting was switched to remote. Despite the last-minute changes, I remained flexible and professional.
4) During this interview with the hiring manager, I was again told that I would present the case study at a later stage. However, after waiting approximately ten days without feedback, I received an email stating that the requirements for the role had changed and that they were now looking for someone with a high level of French.
🚫 After a month in the process and the significant work invested in the case study, receiving this update via a brief email — without structured feedback or a call — was disappointing. I proactively reached out to another decision maker afterwards, and I have to admit he scheduled a call and was very kind and took my concerns seriously. However, they did not offer any compensation for the time invested.
While the company looks for candidates who can build external alignment, my experience showed a lack of alignment internally. My candidate experience did not reflect the basic level of organization, transparency, or respect for candidates’ time and effort.
I believe recruitment is a mutual process built on professionalism, clarity, and consistency. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Orisha (Barcelona) in Jul 2025
Interview
