The hiring and interview process took longer than I expected, but it was my first experience applying for a position with a government contractor so I wasn't aware of the amount of time it can take to be brought on board. From the first onsite visit to my first day on the job, it took almost 4 months to get the appropriate requisitions and background checks completed. As for the interview itself, I don't think that the hiring managers were particularly knowledgeable about the qualities that they should have been looking for in an applicant. Having said that, they were comfortable and pleasant, and I enjoyed an easy interview.
