I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Nokia (Budapest) in Jan 2013
Interview
First round, writing a test consisting four topics: programming in general, testing experience, network related questions, and some logical puzzles. You can also apply for more optional tests, eg. Linux, a more specific network related test, C/Java programmer test, and maybe others.
Second round is the personal interview, with some technical / personal questions, previous workplace and experiences, both in native / English language.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Usually some basic questions, why do you want to work hire, why should we hire you, what are your expectations.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nokia (Athens, Athens, Attica) in Sep 2014
Interview
Three main steps. First step was a test (about 1 and a half hour) with three main subjects:
- Programming skills (choose between C, C++ or Java)
- Networking skills (general questions based on TCP/IP)
- Linux skills (general questions based on bash scripting and Linux)
After the above steps, if you pass the exam, you go for your first interview with two line managers. A very analytical discussion regarding your experience, your knowledge, old projects etc. If you pass this interview two, you go for your last one (upper management) which is the most easy. Quick discussion about your knowledge and more "managerial" questions based on "how you see yourself in 3 years" etc.
