I had a great conversation with the hiring manager, and there was a strong sense of alignment regarding my skills and the company’s needs. After the interview, I received positive feedback, which further fueled my excitement about the potential fit within the team.
However, I was disappointed by the lack of communication following the interview. Despite my proactive follow-ups, I was ultimately left without any updates or closure regarding my application status. This experience felt unprofessional and disheartening, especially after being led to believe that I was a strong candidate for the role.
While I appreciated the initial engagement and support, the ghosting at the end of the process was frustrating and left me feeling undervalued as a candidate. I hope NewDay can improve its communication with candidates moving forward.
