LE application process. application-interview-board- psych test - academy - etc once you complete the academy you are put into a command, not of your choice and you begin the career as a police officer.

It was an extremely long and tedious hiring process. Interview is just one of many steps in the hiring process. There is an initial interview, a second interview and a final interview.
- How would you connect a caller to the appropriate agency?

Only interview you have to go through is with a psychologist. There’s no direct standard interview. It’s more of an interview to test your psychological and make sure the type of person you are.
- They ask about your past. Childhood, family, school, friends, social life, etc!

The process is long and lengthy but it's worth it. Don't give up. If you're currently working while doing this process.. just prepare to use a lot of sick days to go in the police department to finish the process.

psychologist was very rude and judgmental, also asked questions in a very dimeaning way. pretended like nothing I said made sense.didnt clearly ask questions and confused me also. would not recommend

You need to provide information on your background, school, employment history, family, health. You need to provide documents. Drivers license, school transcript. You have to take a written and psych exam and medical exam.

There is a writing sample prior to your interview which you are to complete the same day it is sent to you. The interview was held over Microsoft Teams and the link was sent the same day as the interview.

10 hour initial interview process. Starts with vision, hearing and EKG. Was given an investigator and everything else was easy. Must come in business attire. Be patient and definitely bring lots of snacks because you're there all day since 6:30am

Easy interview process. Must be able to pass background check. Dress professionally and arrive on time. They describe the job pretty well. Dont take the job if you’re overly sensitive. As no one likes getting a ticket.
