I had a very odd experience interviewing with this company. I was contacted via LinkedIn directly by the Head of HR, we set up a 30 minute phone screen in which she immediately scheduled next steps for an onsite interview in which I was supposed to meet with 4 different team members/company leaders. At the time of the in person interview, the HR Leader came down about 10 minutes late to get me from the lobby. She informed me we were unable to meet in the conference room for an interview we had booked 1 week prior, and would instead meet in a common area off to the side of the buildings lobby. I also never met with any of the panelists I was scheduled to meet with, and only interviewed with the same person I had spoken to previously. The first question she asked me was the same first question she had already asked on our prior phone screen.
When she was late and I was not admitted to the actual office and realized I would also not be speaking with anyone new, I immediately felt like the situation was weird and I wasn’t actually being considered for the role anymore. I am not sure why she couldn’t just call or email before to let me know I was no longer in consideration, and instead chose to waste both of our time with a poor charade of an interview.
I did not expect to move forward after, but also never received the quick send rejection email template either. This was a very poor candidate experience and very surprising coming from a company whose whole mission is to do good for others.
