      Editorial Lead Interview

      Jun 25, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Nava

      Interview

It was an interesting role I felt well-suited for, but alas, relevant experience and qualifications matter less than the vibes of people conducting the interviews. The phone screen was just fine, and the recruiter was encouraging and asked the right questions. The problems came at the next phase. It took an unusually long time to schedule the second round (about 10 days). When it finally came, the interviewers were late and could not have been less interested in anything I had to say. It was about an hour of oddly negative questions about managing conflict and responses to poorly received work. In the end, I was simply ghosted.
