I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (London, England) in Apr 2017
Interview
I interviewed for an off-cycle internship in the London GCM team.
The process was very long (almost 2 months), I had nine 30-minute interviews (both phone and in-person) with bankers working in ECM, DCM and LAF.
Almost all interviews were technical, many questions regarding my views on the market, some valuation questions, some specific questions on debt and equity issuances.
Very positive experience, all interviewers were very kind and open to answer questions.
Hirevue, it was pretty basic but mine kept glitching and lagging which is probably my wifi fault. Overall, it should have been easy but I was unprepared and the wifi glitching threw me off.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (London, England) in Oct 2025
