I applied through other source. I interviewed at Mohawk Home (Calhoun, GA)
Interview
After weeks of fumbling around with a Senior HR rep, I traveled through the trailers, free-range chickens, and front-yard-flying confederate flags for my on-site interview at Mohawk Home's Corporate HQ in the isolated town of Sugar Valley, GA. The hiring manager who I was scheduled to meet with had a scheduling conflict, and therefore passed me over to a subordinate for my 1-on-1.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
#1) How much are you currently earning?
#2) What are your salary expectations?
All other questions had nothing to do with the actual job description posted on their HR portal, followed by rapid fire "gotcha" attempts to grill me over experiences I do not claim to possess via my resume. Given the amount of time and resources this multi-billion dollar outfit invested in me as a candidate, the grande finale was nothing short of an unprofessional, unorganized parade hosted by the new generation of local socialites who now run the show.
Buyer beware for anyone considering a relocation or telecommute. This place seemed like a small town, old money playground in the middle of nowhere.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mohawk Home in Apr 2011
Interview
Met at career fair and was called shortly after to tour/ interview. Management was impressive and they seemed very interested in me. Great to see how such a large company works. They clearly needs fresh creatives and thats why they came to my university. Put me up in a hotel and paid for my lunch but I should of asked for money for transportation costs and other expenses...they would have covered it.

Question 1
Was not a very formal interview. Just looked at my portfolio.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mohawk Home in Apr 2009
Interview
Easiest interview I've ever been part of. He talked on and on and I had to make an effort to interject things about myself. I used a hard close and it worked - he followed me to the car with "When can you start?"
Took 5 days for personnel to follow up....
