Initial Interview went well. Interviewer set expectations on when I would be contacted for my next interview and then ghosted me. Not sure why they bothered making it sound like I was great fit and they would be moving forward in the process. I heard from several others in the industry that had this exact experience with this company. Insurance can be very a small world, people talk.

Initial screening, following two plus hour virtual interview. Went silent for six weeks until asking for another interview. Never heard from again after that. Checked my status online and it always showed "application received". Further digging suggests the ghosting is a standard company practice .
