      Customer Experience Advocate Interview

      Mar 31, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Tempe, AZ
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Metromile (Tempe, AZ) in Jul 2015

      Interview

I had 3 interview total. My first interview was with the manager of the customer service department. I was asked several questions about my background experience and why I applied to work there. I thought the questions I was asked were very relevant to the job I was applying for. After my first interview, I was then interview by the director of customer service. He was very friendly and asked more in depth questions about my knowledge of insurance and my skill set. I was then interviewed by a current customer service associate. Most of his questions consisted of getting to know more about me and my personality. Overall I enjoyed my experience and learning about the company.

      Question 1

What previous customer service experience do you have? How would you handle a customer who was very frustrated? What are you looking for?

      Customer Experience Advocate Interview

      Jul 16, 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Tempe, AZ
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Metromile (Tempe, AZ) in Jul 2015

      Interview

There wasn't much of an interview. During the phone screening, the recruiter told me some high level details about the job. She continued to reiterate that "a lot of people have trouble being on phones for long periods of time". When I asked on the phone how much the job paid, she said they withhold that info until the in-person interview to make sure people are here for the "right reason". Is anyone really "stoked" to be working at a call-center? I'd be interested in finding someone who's passionate about that, and doesn't see it as a necessary stepping stone to somewhere higher within the company. Then I got to the in-person interview. I couldn't even tell you any details about the job. The recruiter didn't tell me anything specific about the role except that it'd be similar to my current job and I wouldn't enjoy it. I was still never told how much the job paid. It got to a point where I basically had to just give up and say this wasn't going to work. Horrible way to sell the company/position. I've told others to steer clear of this place.

      Question 1

The only question I was asked was why I left my current job.
