I was surprised at how casually a team of recruiters took an interview with a fellow recruiter. Given that I did not receive an offer, I suspect the decision to not move forward was made early because my interviewers showed a very clear lack of interest in what I had to say. One even spent most of the interview sending messages on his phone.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Meta (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2017
Interview
I was invited in for a general interview based on a referral from an employee. I wish I had insisted in a couple of job descriptions in advance. I was trying to understand the role and then provide the best examples while not fully understanding the role. Certainly didn’t allow me to perform to my best or for the interview to get the most accurate info from me. Despite this everyone I met was friendly and professional.
Panel of 5 interviews, all virtual and one to one. Each had a different theme, my recruiter prepped me in advance. Looking for candidates to use the STAR method and discuss past experiences.
