I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Meta (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
A number of open ended conversations and a pretty protracted hiring process over course of about 6 months. Interview for bench so never certain which role type you might be considered for.
The interview process consisted of one 30-minute presentation, which showcased two previous work projects. That was followed by three 30-minute 1:1 interviews, including a mock scenario. There was clear communication with the recruiter throughout the process.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (Denver, CO) in Aug 2022
Interview
After submitting my application online, I received an email from the recruiter about a month & a half after I applied. The recruiter interview was quick, they asked me the typical “Tell me about yourself question”. Unfortunately I did not move on and asked for feedback, but was told due to legal reasons they could not provide specific feedback & the candidate pool is very competitive for the position. I wish there was a better way to learn from the hiring process, but what I am learning is that sometimes you can have the most perfect interview but there are things out of your control.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in May 2022
