I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Merrill (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2024
Interview
There was a Hirevue, then a superday with two back to back interviews. It was strictly behavioral, super relaxed. Mainly wanted to know why I wanted to work in wealth management.
Interview experience itself was fine however, the follow up process was very exhausting. I was supposed to get an update within two weeks of the interview (which never came through) and after a month of waiting, when I reached out they mentioned the position was filled. The interview was typically about introducing myself, chatting and getting to know the team and I was confident enough that my answers were clear and precise (those were basic questions about my experience so I would know). However, I understand I might not be a good fit. But not following up or informing that I’ve been rejected has been unpleasant.
