Application
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Mercer (Urbandale, IA) in Apr 2017
Interview
Had an initial phone interview with a recruiter from Mercer, then another phone interview with a third party. The second interview was really awkward. The interviewer didn't know anything about the position, so I kind of ended up explaining it to him. Strange. Had an in person interview at the Urbandale location with two people, one of whom is a supervisor for he role I applied for. Both were very nice. I got a call from the recruiter later in the day with the job offer. I appreciate that the process wasn't tedious and drawn out.

Question 1
What do you think is an appropriate number of absences per year?
Very quick process. I applied to the position, and the next day received an email telling me to do the video interview. The video interview wasn’t that bad, you just answer questions to prerecorded questions by an employee. The next day, I got an email asking to schedule a panel interview. Scheduled it, very relaxing interview. The atmosphere was great and the people were so nice. I was supposed to have 3 people in my interview, but ended up only having one person for most of the time, then an additional person came in. 95% of the questions were “tell me about a time when...” An hour later, a recruiter called me offering me the job. I wish the salary would’ve been higher, otherwise I would have accepted the offer.

Interview
First I got a call with some basic questions and the asked if I would be do a virtual interview. It was my first time doing that and although I was a little nervous, It was fine. Then I got a call to come in to meet with a manager. It was very professional. I met for about 40 minutes with a supervisor who was easy to talk to and answered all of my questions

Interview
I first did a virtual interview which I found quite different because I had never done that before, but it was very relaxing because I was able to do it from the comfort of my home. The in person interview the personnel was very warm and extremely nice, they made me feel very comfortable and welcome.
