I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic (Miami, FL) in Nov 2011
Interview
I though it was a bit long, but compared to everyone else, actually short. Gave my resume to a career fair representative. He asked me a few questions. I was called later on that day by HR. A phone interview was set up the next day. A 1:1 the next week. a group interview 2 weeks later. got hired by then end of dec.

Question 1
What are your weaknesses/strengths. They were your typical HR questions... Tell me a time when you had to be a leader... tell me a time when you had to solve a problem... tell me a time when you had to delegate... tell me a time when you had to work with someone you did not like... etc
Probably the worst process any company has ever put me through. I had a recruiter screen, hiring manager screen, district manager screen, engineer screen, technical quiz which required over 30 hours of studying, and then a 45 minute long final presentation which took over a week of preparation only to be given a generic rejection telling me they went with someone else and would keep my information on file and refer me to their other positions as they open up. Never again will I let a company waste my time like Medtronic did and give me the absolute disrespect of a generic rejection after the amount of effort I put in. Six interviews has to be a joke and they were just testing if I was enough of a fool to keep showing up.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Medtronic (Utah, TN) in Mar 2026
Interview
Pretty straight forward just a super long process. Multiple phone calls and in person meet ups. Overall not very challenging though. Just took like 2 months to get an answer. Good experience overall though.
6 week process, started with recruiter screen, hiring manager zoom, then field ride with rep. I also networked with the current local CS team with phone calls. They encouraged me to do as many informational interviews as possible with the local team.
