I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Medtronic (Northridge, CA) in May 2018
Interview
Phone interview with hr personal to screen for the job. This was followed by a few hours of rotating 1 or 2 people at a time to interview in person. A small tour of the facility and lab was a good opportunity to learn and ask good questions
Second round of panel Interviews with a tour and a final meeting with the director. Everything was pretty straight foward. It was a good mix of people to ask questions and get a good idea of the position and it's requirements.

Question 1
Standard questions about previous job experience and how it will apply in this role. Nothing was unexpected.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Medtronic
Interview
Started with a 20 minute phone screening interview with the hiring manager, then with a panel of engineers and managers. The interview was scheduled in two days. They split into groups and asked a series of questions taking turns.
I applied online. I interviewed at Medtronic in Jul 2019
Interview
An online panel interview followed by a phone interview from HR and HM. People are friendly to speak with but I found the company is not competitive enough from the technology standpoint. It may be a good place for people near retirement or just want to have a plain career. So I told them it is not a good fit in the interview.
