Question 1
Whether or not I would be OK with taking on the project they had in mind for me
I applied online. I interviewed at MedHelp International (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
1) General Phone Screen: This is fairly standard and is used to ensure the applicant understands the position to which they have applied and are still interested in said position once learning more/having their questions answered.
2) Specific Phone Interview: I interviewed with the head of my prospective team. It went great. She was really down to Earth and we immediately hit it off with shared experiences.
3) In-Person Interview: I met with the CEO and also someone I believe was in Biz Dev. The interview with the CEO was perhaps the most negative interview experience I've had to date. The interview started off fine, and he did ask the questions someone else mentioned here (see below). We worked through the answer to the OJ/water question together, then things went downhill. He essentially told me that I don't seem like I strive or work hard (even though this would be the second job I'd be holding if they'd offered me the job). Very arrogant. He launched into his "war stories" about being in medical school and not having any food and how spoiled we are in America. It was really upsetting and I hope he changes his style for future applicants.

Question 1
1) Bug is in the top corner of a cuboid room. What's the shortest path to get to the opposite corner of the room (without flying)?
2) You have 10 cc of pure orange juice in a clear glass, and 10 cc of pure water in a second glass. If you take 1 cc of orange juice and pour it into the water, then take 1 cc of the water/OJ mixture you just created and pour it into the orange juice, is there more orange juice in the water glass, or more water in the orange juice glass?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MedHelp International (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2010
Interview
Although the MedHelp office is on the edge of a rough block in San Francisco, the design of the office is absolutely stunning. When I arrived for my first interview I noticed the beautifully exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and hard wood floors. The glass conference rooms and completely open floor plan really give you a sense of how close everyone works with each other.
My first interview took about 3 hours and I met with 3 different employees. Right off the bat, they made it extremely clear that MedHelp was a place for long hours and hard work. I got the impression that everyone pulled more than their fair share of weight and no one worked less than 9 hours a day. As far as the basic outline of the interview questions, I don't remember anything being out of the ordinary... that is, until I met with the CEO.
When I first met with the CEO we talked about the long history of the office building, our mutual love of photography, and our love of our huge, ethnic families. The conversation came so easily that not once in the entire hour did we discuss anything job related! I had to make another appointment to come back and have a proper interview with him. The second interview was much more intense than the first. I was given mathematical word problems and clever riddles to try and work out on the white board. As someone who had not taken a math course in over a decade, I was pretty shaken up. I did not get either of the questions correct and by the time the interview was over I was completely unsure of my standing.
To my surprise, I received a phone call 3 days later congratulating me on my successful interview and offering me the position! I was told that I had "passed all the tests with flying colors". I gratefully accepted the offer and I have been working with MedHelp ever since.

Question 1
The word problems caught me totally off guard! It was obvious that the point of these riddles was not to find the correct answer; but to see how you work out your problems, what steps you take to find solutions, and how well you handle discipline.
