      Sep 17, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Berlin
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mambu (Berlin) in Jul 2018

      Interview

Firstly I was contacted by company's recruiter and we had a short phone interview, where he was asking questions about product management. Second step was on site interview with Product Management, where I got more detailed information about the position, company and their expectations. The next step was preparing home assignment. I had to prepare vision and MVP for revolving credit. Then followed another home assignment, where I had to prepare end to end process with user stories. The aim was to see, how it would be to work with their team. Through the whole interview I felt very comfortable, everyone was very friendly and relaxed.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1. The difference between revolving credit and credit cards. 2. After which sprint could we go live? 3. How do you define complexity of the user story? 4. Specific questions about repayment methods, principal and interest rates.

      Interview

A well though interview, with three stages and homework. It's been quite a while since I've been through such a meticulous interview, and it felt that both sides gave their best interest to find out if we're a fit from a personal and professional perspective.

      Question 1

In a given scenario, what are your prioritisation techniques and how can you handle an over-crowded backlog?
