After receiving on line schedule to set my own interview time, I chose the 2nd interview slot of a two day calendar. When I arrived early to the store, I was approached by another department manager, who was very friendly and upbeat and when I told her I was there for an interview she said I looked great and my decades of outside selling was a real plus and she wanted to interview me! So this got me pumped. I headed to HR, and the interviewer came out and told the receptionist she wanted to hire the lady she just interviewed, but neither of them knew what was next, to send her home, call her back, did she need more interviews...I was feeling that uh oh I read on here. I was taken back on time, and was told she did not have a copy of my resume, so I handed her one. Let me preface the next part by saying I have over 25 years of outside professional straight commission representing manufacturer's of fashion related products, I sold to retail & chain stores as well as independents & relationship selling was everything! ... I look great, professional and I wore a black suit and tasteful makeup. She immediately told me there was no openings, but "would I like to try for counter manager of Channel?" Try For?? OK, I sold high end fashion accessories by the $100,000's & I sold health and beauty aids by the gallons....So she shifted through papers to "find the right questions"...the questions are below. In the middle she said..oh let me get the store manager, and then came back and told me she was busy, we will call you..I'm pretty insulted in general after my experience today. And oh..I went back to the lady that gave me such a welcome, and she seemed unhappy to see me and told e they were only hiring part time.
