The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2012
Interview
I have worked with Macy's before and the last time I was interviewed they offered me the job on the spot. But because I like to get things done QUICKLY, I asked for the interview that was the closest. So when I get there, I am essentially the only one there. Aside from that, the interview itself was bland. You can tell the woman was simply reading off a list and there was hardly any effort to get to "know" the potential employee. I feel comfortable that I MIGHT have the job, but the interviewer seemed bored of me. it wasn't until the very end she started to actually seem to like human contact.
The feeling was mainly good, but she didn't seem too happy about her own job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Orlando, FL)
Interview
Virtue first. Then, at the store. Interview questions are not hard but hiring manager/s are sketchy. They posted part time positions but when I got into the interview they said their looking for people wanting full time job. So unprofessional to take my time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
Basic interview process. Applied online and was called in for an interview about a week later. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. No assessments needed. I talked about 2 managers.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY)
Interview
It was in person and lasted 20 minutes approximately. Before the int started I was asked to fill out a questionnaire. The question inclu questions about my education and prior retail sales jobs.
