Talked to the recruiter. He was nice. When they found out I was severely allergic to dogs, they told me to take meds or don't take the offer. I can get asthma attacks from dog allergens, so I could not take the offer.

A couple phone interviews and then an onsite interview.
I was offered the job, but did not take it mostly because the hiring manger didn't seem to care if I took it or not. No communication from the hiring manager other than the first conversation. The primary reason someone likes or does not like their job is their boss. If my potential boss doesn't care if I take the role, why should I?
