I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Boston, MA) in Jul 2016
Interview
My interview with the Lyft team was extremely friendly and comforting. I was originally contacted by a member of their recruiting team about two weeks after filling out an application on line. I had an original phone interview/ screening with them. After, I was pushed to a second phone interview with the manager of operations. Finally, I was asked to come into the office for a three round interview with the Boston team. Each of the three interviews was one-on-one with a different member of their Boston team (a Community Associate, a team lead and the Manager of Operations).
After this process, I was informed that they filled the position with another candidate. The recruiter said they would be in contact for future opportunities if they came up.
Two months later, a Community Associate opened up and I was contacted by the same recruiter. This time, I moved right to the in office interview.

Question 1
Walk us through your resume.
Do you have experience working in customer service?
Tell us about a time where you had to work with a customer who was frustrated and how you handled it.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Three step process: phone interview with a recruiter, video interview with someone in the actual office, and in-person interview. Lyft is clearly very committed to their brand and looking for hires who will be content to stay in their new role for a year+ before promotion
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Santa Ana, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
They were very thorough in their interview process to determine the best possible fit for their company. I understand the necessity of them making sure they adequately selected the best candidate. The process of the experience was a little more lengthy than I have ever gone through, but I feel it will leave me well equipped with what is to come with this Lyft!

Question 1
How would you handle a situation where a driver kept getting put off by different Community Associates.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
5 interviews total in 5 weeks. Took a while but all the people were pleasant to speak with. First over the phone with recruiter, then over video with direct supervisor, then over phone with some sort of regional coordinator, then in-person with direct supervisor again, then over video with regional manager. Each interview was about 15-20 minutes and all almost identical conversations. Mostly just get-to-know-you and your previous work experience/skills.
