I applied online through the Lyft website. I was set up with 2 phone screens that took place over the course of the following 2 weeks. All of the questions were straightforward, with a focus on how I would think about key metrics for Lyft's business. Neither of the people I spoke with were clear on what role I would be taking on if I were to be hired.
I was then asked to prepare a homework assignment (~3-4 hrs of work). After sending in my work, I waited another 2 weeks to hear back from the team. I was then invited onsite to present my work and interview with 3-4 members of the team. It was clear from the start that there was not a good mutual fit.
Overall, my experience was quite negative and the recruiting process felt very poorly managed.
