I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lush (London, England) in Mar 2017
Interview
informal group interview, asked to work as teams to sell different products, do a few demos etc etc. the hiring team were really friendly, and although i messed up a few times nobody treated me like an idiot. just felt like we were all friends (friends who were passive/aggressively fighting for the same job) but friends none the less. OH and we also got a free bath bomb, which was nice to cry in when i got home and found out i didn't get the job ( joke )
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
if you could be any LUSH product what would you be?
Group interview was fun but felt a bit hard to stand out from other big personalities, did a range of tasks/games around the store which was a nice change from the traditional interview process, it was nice to be interacting with other interviewees rather than simply feeling like competitors
Unique interview. All were group tasks including curating a routine for customers and demonstrating products. You need to bring lots of energy to the table and be imaginative with your descriptions.

Question 1
Why did you select these products for the specified customer?
I applied online. I interviewed at Lush (Cardiff, Wales) in Sep 2024
Interview
Was a group interview, practicing different techniques. Not 1 to 1 at any point. Was merely staff watching as you did the recruitment tasks during the evening. If successful you had a trial shift and then got the job
