Interview
Interviewing for a Scrum Master role at this company was straightforward and respectful. Communication was clear from the start and expectations were well defined. The overall experience felt relevant to the role and focused on practical capability rather than theatrics.
The process began with an initial HR screening to cover background, motivation, and fit. Next came a conversation with the Operations Manager that went deeper into team context, ways of working, and how I handle real world Scrum scenarios. I was then given a role related task aligned with day to day Scrum Master responsibilities; the brief was clear and the evaluation criteria were transparent. After successfully completing the task, I had a final interview with the founder to align on culture, leadership style, and impact. Shortly after that discussion, I received an offer.
Overall, it was a lean, relevant, and fair process that assessed both mindset and delivery without wasting time.
Outcome: offer received.
Difficulty: moderate but reasonable for the role.

Interview
1) HR interview: the recruiter asked me questions about my background, career goals, how do I stay up to date with new technologies etc. 2) technical assignment: total effort 25-30 hrs with 1 week deadline. 3) interview with the tech lead to discuss my background and the assignment.
Even though I received very positive feedback at all stages and my project was 99% correct, I never got a response probably because my salary expectations did not match their budget.
The whole process was a total waste of time as I mentioned my salary expectations from the beginning.
