Sourcer reached out to me on LinkedIn to consider a position. I used the self-help phone screen tool to pick a date and time for an interview. From there, they called me and we chatted for about 20 minutes. The Sourcer was very friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and discussion of the role and LinkedIn. The call ended when we discussed salary. Ultimately, the budget of $187,000 base comp for the role wasn't aligned with my minimum requested base comp of $215,000. I am already making a base comp at that level and was looking for a step up to make a move worthwhile. I do look forward to keeping in touch should things change in the future.
