      Sales Process Analyst Interview

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin)

      Interview

I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter via email, a few days later I had a first 30 mins interview on the phone with her describing my experience and a few STAR questions. Following week I had an onsite interview with the would-be-manager (1 hour) and then another hour with 2 members of the team. Focused a lot on motivation for the role itself, STAR questions, a little exercise (reading an email and understand what was requested in it). A bit hard to do 2 hours interview in a row and basically telling the same things twice in a day to different people. Half an hour with the team members would have been enough if they just wanted to know if I'd fit in.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Why are you interested in this role?

      Question 2

Describe a situation when a sales person has been difficult to deal with, how did you cope?

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin)

      Interview

I had a phone screening with a recruiter, which mainly covered my work experience and was invited to in-house interview with a team leader, senior team member and manager of a team.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1. Tell me about a difficult situation that you had recently 2. What annoys you in other people? 3. How do you handle sterss? 4. Last time when you failed. 5. What you don't like about your current role? 6. A situation when you were asked to do something that you have disagreed with. Generally lots of behavioural questions. The manager was taking his time before asking additional questions, so there were minutes of silence. It was really interesting.
