I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Labcorp (Gaithersburg, MD) in Jul 2011
Interview
Interviewed over the phone for research associate position. Interviewer wasn't very outgoing or friendly; she was almost robotic. Asked to give brief overview of your resume, work history. Standard mundane interview questions such as, describe 3 strengths and 3 weaknesses. Rate Excel skills on scale from 1-10 and rate writing skills.
Be prepared to talk about your work history, your skills in health economics, Excel skills and writing skills. Have follow-up question prepared as well.
They ask a lot of SAR questions, so be sure to brush up on and practice those. Overall a straightforward interview. Here have some extra words now because I have to reach 30 for this silly glassdoor policy

Question 1
Tell me about a time you disagreed with your supervisor and how did you handle it?
Two back to back interviews with 2 people each. Interviewers were kind and respectful of my time by attending on time (has not always been the case with other interviews I have had within this organization).

Question 1
Describe a time when you faced a challenge or hurdle.
I made my salary expectations clear at the beginning with the recruiter, and then went on to complete 5 hours of interviews. I really liked the position and the team but then was shocked when they offered me 30k less than the salary range I gave them and 10k less than what I am currently making. I’m not sure why they thought I would take that or why they even bothered interviewing me and wasting everyone’s time - my impression is that salaries here are WAY below market value and that they will try to get you to take a lowball offer.
