I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at L'Oréal (Singapore) in Mar 2016
Interview
Interview about 20min.
It's was a 2nd Interview with the HR Director of Singapore.
Met the HR Director and waited for about 15min while she went to buy coffee.
Felt that she did not assess much of my skills or experience but ask inappropriate and discriminatory questions.
After what seemed like a very short while, it ended abruptly. She did not seem interested to know more of my skills and experience but more focus on my gender inclination which shocked me as I thought L'Oréal is very big on diversity and inclusion.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at L'Oréal in Jul 2025
Interview
Unilever interviews are structured yet friendly, using behavioral and situational questions, online assessments, and case studies to assess leadership, purpose alignment, problem-solving, and agility, ensuring candidates fit Unilever’s values-driven culture.
First it was 30 minutes a introductory interivew by an HR, and then it will be followed by the manager of the HR team which is either 30 minutes or 45 minutes
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at L'Oréal (Bangkok) in Mar 2023
Interview
Phone interview mix with an interview with manager. Mainly asking about work and past job while giving scenarios for you to solve. Long wait and very slow response though but overall not bad
