I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Konrad Group
Interview
I had several rounds of interviews with Konrad Group. Round 1: Phone screen. Round 2: Portfolio presentation. Round 3: Design challenge. Overall the process was okay and everyone I met was kind. Communication was great throughout the process. However, I thought it was excessive to do a portfolio presentation and design challenge. The design challenge seemed totally unrealistic and only gave 90 min to do A LOT (read through the long prompt, figure out 3 unique designs, create hi-fi screens for them, and create a presentation for what you did) and I didn't move on to the next round. The rejection email made it sound like the team had unrealistic expectations for what could be accomplished during 90 min, which made me wonder what the expectations would be like on a day-to-day basis working there.
The first round with Konrad was very simple and conversational easy and I connected well with the recruiter, I am now waiting to hear back from them- i have heard only good things about them

Interview
4 rounds of interviews
1. Call with HR (30min)
2. In person interview with 1 designer to present portfolio + answer other questions. (1 hour)
3. Technical Interview - Whiteboarding challenge and redesign challenge + presentation (3.5 hours)
4. Discussion with person in leadership
I found the 3.5-hour technical interview challenging because it was unclear what they were looking for, as their answers were quite vague. Additionally, they don't provide any feedback if you don't advance to the next round.
