Took about 10 days from applying to receive a link with time slots to interview. Afterward I got an email with a confirmation and a link to the online interview. The interview was held online thru Google meet. The interview itself was very short.

Within 5 days of applying online I received a phone interview request. I waited an hour and a half and didn't receive a call so I called the store and spoke w/ the mgr who was supposed to interview me. She had a poor attitude and said she tried to call me 3x and I didn't answer so she listed me as a no call/ no show and not hirable. I asked her to confirm the number she had and she was off by one digit. I stated that I gave the correct info on the app because I've received 2 text messages from the store prior to the appt reminding me of the upcoming interview so I don't understand how she has the wrong number. I asked if we can still continue bc I promise I'm still interested and had been waiting for this call. She said no bc she was busy on the floor but I can call back in an hour and she'll try to talk to me. I said okay, no problem. About an hour later, I received a call from the store number and when I answered, I got no response. I said hello 6x but still no response so I hung up and called the store to speak with her. She had a poor attitude and said I shouldn't have given the wrong number. In the meantime I double checked the app and the info was correct plus I received text messages from the store so I know the number is correct. She even stated my husbands last name (we don't have the same one) as the number she had. How would she know his name if she had the wrong number? His name is who the phone is listed under. She said I will need to re do the entire application process again in order to reschedule the interview. This is odd bc she could've just rescheduled a better time. Instead of admitting she was wrong and copied the # down wrong, she continued to blame me. I remained polite and professional while her demeanor just got worse. I asked what I can do in re-applying to ensure this doesn't happen again bc I'm very interested in this position. She said don't give the wrong number. I asked if it could perhaps be a technical error and she just blamed me. I said okay, no problem I will re apply. I did the whole process again, having to create a new acct to do so and later that evening I received a rejection letter. This is a huge red flag that she is not someone good to work for. She can't even admit a simple mistake on her part instead she decided to gaslight me the whole time. She could've even just blown it off and said "things happen but let's move on". She decided not to do that. This is unprofessional and flat out rude.
