I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kohl's (Bismarck, ND) in Jul 2013
Interview
I handed in my application in store, and after three or four days i got a call from HR to schedule an interview with me. I got there 10 mins earlier than agreed upon time. There already were a few people waiting outside the office to interview. My interview just lasted 6 mins, normal question like where are you from, why you choose this position, how do you feel like Kohls, what is your major, what is your available schedule, can you do early openning, etc.

Question 1
your major is accountancy, do you want try cash office in early morning?(It was really unexpected, I just planned to apply for cashier, but Bismarck stores not only Kohls are very short of employees, so they glad to give me better offer)
I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Austin, TX)
Interview
I had a remotely easy interview process that went pretty quick. They asked the average questions, but the pay was not the best so I did not go with them.

Question 1
Can you name a time you had to show good teamwork?
scheduled Zoom interview TWICE and both times, I waited in appropriate "room" and no one from Kohls "showed up". I even called the local store and asked if I should keep waiting, who ever answered checked and they said yes, they will be right with you. I waited over 30 minutes each time.

Question 1
They asked me to be available for a zoom call at a specified time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Fort Smith, AR) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview was completely online, and I spoke with someone from HR. The interview was incredibly short and lacked much substance. The interview consisted of basic questions about when I would be available, but also included a personal question about going out of my way to help somone. All in all, it was a horrible experience.
