I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Rānchī) in Sep 2015
Interview
After the GD process, there were two interviews and both the interviews were mainly based on the resume. In the first interview, they asked about the internships, projects and extra-curricular activities done in college. Then there were some questions related to programming and networking and few questions from my subject of interest. The second interview was with the senior partner and it was more of an interactive session than a interview. There were general questions like what are your opinions on Corporate ethics, what are your future plans, etc. Most of the people who made it to the second round were selected.90 people were shortlisted for GD, out of which 20 people were selected for the first interview. And finally 6 were selected.

Question 1
Their main focus was on, how strong the candidate's fundamentals are. For example in programming they asked me basic questions on pointers, arrays etc. In networking they asked me for the layers of OSI and their functions. The trick is to be thorough with whatever is there on your resume.
I applied through university. I interviewed at KPMG (Bangalore Rural)
Interview
Online Test then ,
3 rounds of Interview
1st - Tech Interview
2nd - Tech Interview
3rd - HR Interview
The process was smooth but 2nd Interview was tough. It was only DSA while 1st Interview was overall Core Cs and a basic DSA pattern question
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was not about knowing everything. It was more about:
Confidence
Clear communication
Positive attitude
Willingness to learn
One thing I learned: rejections do not define your capability. Sometimes you just need one opportunity that matches your efforts.
Walking into this process after many disappointments made this offer feel even more special for me.
The interview process will consist of two rounds followed by a final Partner round. The overall difficulty level is expected to be easy to moderate. The focus will primarily be on assessing your basic technical knowledge, conceptual clarity, and practical understanding of core fundamentals. If you have worked thoroughly on the basics and understand the practical application of concepts, the interview can be cleared comfortably. Make sure you revise key topics, be structured in your answers, and demonstrate confidence while responding. With proper preparation and a calm, confident approach, this process can be easily cracked.
