I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at KPMG (London, England) in Oct 2018
Interview
Online SJT followed by numerical and verbal reasoning tests. On passing these, we were required to submit a 2.5 minute audio submission and finally the Launch Pad assessment day.
The Launch Pad consists of 3 assessed elements. The first is a group task, which involves coming up with an idea, looking at how new technologies can be incorporated into it and assessing the risks and assumptions. The second is a written task which lasts 1 hour. We had to write a max 3 page report giving assessments and recommendations about a fictional energy company. All the information was given to us and we had to summarise. The final assessed part was a one on one interview with a senior manager or partner from the office and service line you are entering. It is relatively relaxed, with about 50 interviews going on at the same time at my assessment centre.
The Launch Pad is really well-structured with different talks and activities to help you find out more about KPMG throughout the day. You hear back within 2 working days.
