I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at KPMG (Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi) in Apr 2026
Interview
The first round was a conversation with both the Manager and the HR Manager, and it centered on understanding my professional background and overall fit for the role. They walked through my experience in detail, asking about key responsibilities in my current and past positions, the scope of work I’ve handled, and how my skills align with what the team needs.
They also explored any gaps or transitions in my résumé to get clarity on the context behind them—whether they were due to career shifts, education, relocation, or other factors. The discussion wasn’t just about verifying dates; it was about understanding the reasoning behind my career progression and how I’ve grown from each stage.
Another major focus was my motivation for considering a move. They asked why I’m open to leaving my current position, what I’m looking for in my next role, and how this opportunity fits into my long‑term goals. The conversation was aimed at assessing both my readiness for a transition and whether the role aligns with what I’m seeking professionally.
