I gave my interview on Monday and i was shocked with the process of interview as i was not asked any question related to the finance profile. No technical round. Just one presention and that too was related to customer service. It was more like a formality rather than an interview.

Prepare for customer service rather than finance. Very shocking interview and nothing related to technical skills used for financial analyst profile. Complete wastage of time.

Interview
Straightforward with a panel of 2 people. The interview is in two parts. Firstly I had 30 mins to prep a 10 min presentation. After I gave my presentation they asked questions.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had a different opinion to a decision maker and how it was resolved.
We do a lot of data analysis of complex data sets. Can you explain a time when you analysed complex data, drew out insights and communicated it effectively?
I had an Excel test to complete and an interview with 2 of my line managers for the role. Fairly straight word CV based, asked about my skills and experiences to date and talked about what they were looking for. No tricky questions. It was a temp role so only one stage
