I applied online. I interviewed at Jacobs (Croydon, England) in Aug 2016
Interview
Introduction made, brief overview of Jacobs and what they do. Specification of what the job entails and what it requires. A review of my CV to see if I had the necessary skill set for the job. A question and answer session about my CV followed by a series of competency questions. A technical question was asked to test my understanding of simple civil engineering principles and how one would apply theoretical knowledge to a real life situation.

Interview
Interviewed by two people, asking motivational and competency and situational based questions. A lot of the questions were follow up questions from the answers I were giving, and the situational questions were not too hard and they help you if you get stuck.

Interview
Typical behavioural questions, heard back a couple weeks later. Surprisingly no online assessments which is nice. Does depend on team though. Interview was with a section lead and another civil engineer.
It was a very simple process of adding cv, then waiting for an option to do an online interview. You will be asked 3 questions, one about why you want to work there, another on how you stay motivated and lastly something you are proud of.
