I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ipsos (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2015
Interview
The process took an entire month even though I only had a phone screen and 1, three-hour interview session on-site to meet the entire team. Lots of waiting time in between scheduling each interview and in waiting for a response.
I applied for the role was was sent an email for a phone screen 1-2 weeks after I submitted my application materials. Phone screen lasted about 15 minutes - was short and to the point. No chit-chat. Asked to go over experience, salary expectations, etc. and ended the phone screen promptly. I almost thought I didn't get to the next step it was so short.
The 3-hour interview was very pleasant for how long it was. Met 7 people in groups of 2 or 3. More questions around your passion/interests than tricky interview questions. They ask a bit about your experience, but they care a lot about the cultural fit as well.
The real (and only) downside to the interview process is that it is slow. I ended up going with another offer with a company that moved faster.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not a single "Tell me about a time when..." question. The interviews in person were very conversational - felt more like I was talking to an acquaintance than it being an actual interview.
