The hiring process was straightforward and took around two weeks. The process involved an online application, prescreening call, phone interview and face to face. The phone interview was focussed around my CV with a few technical questions at the end. The face to face interview was half behavioural and half technical. The technical question were based around boolean logic (gates and truth tables), statistical analysis, simple software programming tasks and IV characteristics of semiconductors (diodes, transistors, MOSFET’s)

Interview
Very easy interview. Just asked about past projects, university subjects and past company experience.
Very little technical questions were asked. More were trying to get to know me as a person, my hobbies etc.
Interview process is slow. From application to interview could be 2-3 months and then another month for an offer in reality.
I applied online. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Shannon) in Sep 2019
Interview
There were four interview rounds in total: 1 telephonic screening round, 2 onsite technical round and 1 telephonic HR round.
All questions were related to what I mentioned in my resume and basics knowledge of electronics studied in bachelor’s.

Question 1
Telephonic round was based on resume.
In both technical rounds, they asked detailed questions related to resume and also random basic electronics questions on semiconductor devices, logic gates, timing diagrams, manufacturing process, network theory, programming skills etc.
HR round was quite simple and asked general questions about salary expectations, eligibility to work etc.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2017
Interview
Got a phone call from the recruiter team and three weeks later got a phone screen and finally an onsite interview one week later. The process actually went fast. But sometimes they were really busy and you might want to remind them to ask for feedback as soon as possible. The interviewer promised to give me feedback one week later but didn't ever get back to me even though I sent out two emails to follow up. This is kinda sad. But after all, the interviews were not so difficult and interviewers were nice and kind.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
the phone screen asked some behavioral questions like motivation, strengths and weakness and also some basic algorithms. The onsite interview was focused more on your resume.
