I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Chandler, AZ) in Mar 2011
Interview
I was contacted by an employee (a packaging engineer) at Intel's Chandler campus, and told to submit a pre-screen survey and apply to a specific requisition online. Shortly after I was contacted by another employee (who was a manufacturing engineer in the group with the open position) and setup a time for the phone interview. After the phone interview, I was asked to come in for an on-site interview. The interview consisted of an informal chat with the employee who contacted me (and another candidate), then lunch, then a 1 hour panel interview with the hiring manager(s), followed by a a 1 hour 1-on-1 interview with the factory manager. After all this I was told I would hear back in about 2 weeks. Despite me inquiring every week or so regarding the selection process, it turned out to be 3 months before they confirmed that I was not selected for the position. Wow.

Describe a time when you had to convince management of an idea, and how did you do so?
It was a panel interview on Microsoft teams with 3-4 people. They asked questions regarding past experience and knowledge of lab equipment. There wasn’t a follow-up in person interview afterwards - it was just the one interview. Overall, it was a positive experience.
