I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys (Hyderābād) in Mar 2010
Interview
Infosys takes more of personality profile than technical profile into consideration as we believe that more values a person has, more easily can he/she be trained. Lateral candidates must be prepared with basics of technology and must project a good personality in the interview. Be open to salary negotiability when an offer is given, since there are lot of people trying to get into a single position.
Interview questions [1]

Actually the most difficult question in an interview but not unexpected is 'Tell me about yourself'. It conveys a lot of things. Your confidence, your self awareness, your communication and articulation skills and judging skills. I know of people who cracked half the interview by answering this question right.
