I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Indigo Books & Music (Vancouver, BC) in Mar 2018
Interview
After applying on their website, I received a call about two weeks later asking me to come in for a group audition the following week. The audition was at 7am (early!) and while 6 people were scheduled to show up, only 3 (including myself) did. The interview process was very laidback. The store manager and the operations manager interviewed us (the position was for overnight operations). The first part was answering questions. The second part was scanning books and separating them into appropriate categories and sub-categories. The third and final part of the audition was visualization of merchandise. In the end, I received a call with an offer 2 days later. I would have gladly accepted the position, however, some circumstances changed in my family and I could no longer work the hours of this position. This was a great experience!

Interview
There was a series of group interviews. About 15 candidates were put together and had to work with one another to solve problems and answer questions. We were encouraged to build off of each others ideas and be honest throughout the process. There were fun activities that gave us the opportunity to be creative

Interview
It was a group interview for the first round, played a bunch of team games and icebreakers. It was very easy-going and three managers were present. The second round was an individual interview with behavioural questions.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Indigo Books & Music (Peterborough, ON) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview lasted about an hour with six people in the group interview and two managers. Talked about a book that inspired us, picked an item from the floor and described what was great about it and did a group activity. Very relaxed. Talked mostly about availability.
