I was contacted by a recruiter from Indeed, and they seemed really eager about my candidacy. They even recommended a differnet role when the first role wasn't a great fit given my background. However, after the first phone interview, they claimed they'd set up an interview with the team and even asked for my availbility. However, they just ghosted me despite me following up. If the company changed plans, then that's okay, but I would expect a company that specializes in helping people find jobs to be much better at the process themselves, and to also possess more empathy for the candidates.
