The interview process was lengthy but thorough. I had a phone screening with a recruiter, an interview with a hiring manager, an on-site presentation and several interviews with members of the team, a follow-up interview with the hiring manager, and a final interview with the director of the department. In total, it was about 8 separate interviews + 1 presentation/project.

Initially had a phone interview with the internal recruiter. Next step was a Skype call with the hiring manager. She looked like she literally just rolled out of bed (wet hair, sweat pants, etc.). She asked questions regarding the job and when I gave specific answers she said they were great ideas and wrote them down for her own use. Manager and majority of team are new and she implied that there was higher turnover in the organization.
